I am changing my name to Lo
I have had a number of long hectic days backed up against one another and have spent a lot of time driving each day to and from work.
And usually, unless there is some incalculable event that would prevent me from walking the dog… I spend some time alone at night as well.
I am one of those types that needs time alone to recharge. But being alone too much can get lonely.
So I am changing my name to Lo.
Because there is a promise for Lo.
“And Lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world.” Matthew 28:20
It dawned on me last night… while I was walking the dog.
In the silence with the only sound I could hear was the snow crunching beneath my feet.
I wasn’t alone.
He was with me.
And He is with you. Always. Even if you name isn’t Lo.
No matter what you are going through or where you are now… no matter where you will be or where you have been… there is a promise that you can hold on to.
He is with you. Even when it doesn’t feel like it.
He is right there… with you… because He loves you… and He can’t imagine a moment without you.
