Tremble thou earth…

“Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;” Psalm 114:7

The Bible teaches that we are all “of the dust” and all “turn to dust again.” (Ecc 3:20)

We are earth… made from clay.  Man was formed from what God had created.  He became a living soul when God breathed the breath of life into him.

And as “earth” the appropriate response to being in the presence of the Lord is to tremble.  But not a trembling that denotes fear…

Denominational bickering

I see denominations in Christianity as representing siblings in a family.  They all think they have it right.  They all think the other is wrong.  They’ll admit that they are family if they have to.  But they are all trying to prove who will get the biggest inheritance after their father passes away.

But think about it… we fail to realize…

How long are you willing to hang in there?

If you are like me you get all fired up when God puts in on your heart that He is going to give you something.  And then… when some time passes… you are faced with a decision…

Will you be like the Israelites as they wandered in the desert… complaining… or…
