Have you ever heard that song “Singing in the Rain?”
What a glorious feeling…
When I first read the term “latter rain” in the Word of God I immediately thought of this song. Wouldn’t it be great to sing in the latter rain? In the outpouring of the Holy Spirit?
Who wouldn’t want to be caught in that storm?
But recently a gentleman by the name of Tim Traver (a very accomplished musician) opened my eyes to something even more amazing about the power of our song…
It plays a huge part in “singing in the reign!” (Tim Traver, lead guitar, Station 153)
Let us sing in the Reign of our King. Let us lift up our voices and sing a new song unto the Lord. Let us look to the heavens to see Him come…
But wait… the kingdom of heaven is here… it is in us…
Therefore, let us sing in the reign of our King Jesus into our lives, into our very souls, into our very being.
When we sing songs of worship, praise, adoration, victory, etc… we actually allow our Lord to reign in us… and through us!
Songs sung unto our Lord act as invitations to the Holy Spirit to come and take up the space we occupy.
We then become land claimed and occupied in the Kingdom of Heaven, and the Lord of that kingdom REIGNS!
Go… Sing in the Reign!
