Are you a falling sparrow? Don't answer that. It's a trick question. I was only looking for a lead in. You see when Jesus was telling one of his parables he mentioned that two sparrows were sold for a farthing. (my grocery store doesn't carry sparrow so I couldn't check the price) Then he told us that not even a sparrow falls to the ground without the Father. He was trying to let us know that the Father in heaven cares about us and that nothing takes him by surprise. But the point I want to look at is this... in the verse (Matt ), it doesn't say, "and one of them shall not fall to the ground without your Father knowing." What it does say however is this, "and one of them shall not fall to the ground without your Father." Period.
Wherever you are in your life, no matter how desperate it seems, no matter how low or how hopeless it may seem... your heavenly Father is there with you. The only time you are ever alone is when you fail to see Him there. And even then you are only mistaken. You are never alone.
