It is my position that no man other than Christ Himself has ever prayed the Prayer of Faith. There is one word used for prayer in scripture in the sense of the requests made with confidence to God. I believe it is (and the spelling here is wrong) prozeuchemai. However, for “the prayer of faith” the word euche is used. One definition of this word is “vow” in the sense of an oath that has been taken and one in which the one who has given the vow is absolutely bound to perform. The “Prayer of Faith” is the very same oath that Jesus has both proclaimed and bound Himself to, certain that it will be performed.
Jesus must heal you. He is bound by His vow.
It is also important to know that the word translated “shall” or often “will” is not a future tense word. It is a declarative that states certainty. Again… the vow… the euche pistis.
Don’t be waiting for the “Prayer of Faith” to be prayed. Know that it has already been, by Christ.
