A daily Prayer

I thought I would share a prayer with you that has helped me in my walk.  I pray that it would be an encouragement to all who read it.

Lord,

That I would trust in You with all my heart, and lean not unto my own understanding.
That I would acknowledge You in all my ways, so that You will direct my path.
That I would delight myself in You...

that You would give me the desires of my heart.
And that the desires of my heart would be nothing less than what You would have them be.
Give me favor and wisdom in the eyes of those that you have placed in authority over me, and bless the work of my hands, giving the skill and discernment necessary to complete the tasks You put before me.
Humble me, without humiliating me.
And as You did David, Joseph, Moses, and Daniel... exhalt me to a place that is higher than I for Your Name's sake; that others would look upon and know that You are God and give glory to Your Name.
Let Thy law be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable unto You, my King and my Redeemer.
Write Thy Word upon my heart, that I might not sin against You.
