Many of us have heard about the parable of the talents. We all become determined not to bury ours in a napkin… but to put them to use.
But how do we deal with blessings? When God gives us something do we ever ask ourselves,
“What is He expecting me to do with this blessing? How can I use it for His glory? What should I expect next?”
Good gifts get put to use.
And Blessings… when God speaks well of us… require a response.
There is a Biblical principle that says when God speaks well of you, which is to say when He blesses you… for our God is the One True God who spoke all things into existence through the Word… there is going to follow a time of trial.
Ask Job.
When God said to the devil, “Have you seen my servant Job…” it caused the devil to respond and to come against Job.
And the same happens for us. A compliment from heaven causes all hell to break loose.
So when you are blessed… asked God what you should be doing with that blessing, ask Him what He will require of you because of it.
Ask… because only He has the answers. And only He can perfect you.
