The pillar is moving.

Don’t you wish it was as easy for us as it was for the Israelites?  Not all the junk they went through… the slavery… the rebellion… the captivity… that whole cycle repeating itself… but the actual time in the desert when they didn’t have to wonder where God wanted them because the pillar of cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night guided them.
And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, [from] before the people.” Exodus 13:21-22
Whenever the pillar moved… the people moved.  When it stopped… the people stopped.
If God never changes… where is the cloud today?
Sound like harsh question?  Maybe.  But it is valid.  So why avoid it.
Where is the pillar today?  I would gladly follow it.
Wait a second…
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” 1 Timothy 3:15
You see… I knew He never changed.  There is still a pillar.
The body of Christ.  The Church.
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:”  Colossians 1:24
The Church isn’t a building.  It is not one denomination.  It is the whole Body that confesses that…
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh”
This is the Spirit that “is of God:”
“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” (1 John 4:2-3)
If we then, those who confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, (meaning that He was begotten, not made… that He is eternal… that He IS God… that the Word was made flesh – not that the flesh was made Word) are the pillar that those who seek to follow God are watching…
WHY AREN’T WE MOVING!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Some of us are… maybe the rest of us should take notice… be watching… and following.
