Enduring IS prayer.

Think of Noah, Daniel, and Job… who God calls righteous (Eze 14:14).  I like to call it the “Noah Principle” since it happened to him first.
You see God told Noah His plan.  And the plan included Noah.  So Noah was certain of God’s will and purpose for his life.
But it would be 120 years later that Noah saw that purpose.  And for 120 years he dealt, I’m sure, with the jeers of the people.  In the conversation that is prayer God spoke… and Noah listened.
And listening is part of prayer.  Often the hardest part.
I wonder if Noah ever thought, “Is it really going to rain?”  I wonder if some time during that 120 years, when God had already spoken, and perhaps wasn’t saying much else Noah wondered if it would ever rain.
But had Noah not kept building… had he not kept at the work the Lord had given him… had he not been obedient… when the rain came, he would have drown.
Enduring is prayer.  Steadfastness is prayer.  It is non-verbal communication in the conversation.
I have heard that about 85% of all communication is non-verbal.  It is what we are doing when we aren’t talking.  “You actions speak so loud, I can’t hear a word you say!”
What are you doing when not speaking to God with your mouth?  What are you doing when your part of the conversation is non-verbal?
Are you enduring?  Are you being steadfast?  Are you being faithful?  Are you being obedient?
Then you are in prayer.
Don’t let the enemy tell you any different.
If you feel like you can’t find the words.  If you feel like not much is being said to or through you in prayer… endure.
He accepts that.
