For a purpose

Have you ever wanted to be a part of something bigger than yourself?  Have you ever thought about fighting for a cause, or standing for something?  Have you ever wanted to know that your life has purpose?

You are not alone.  But you are not without hope.  And you are most certainly not here for nothing.  You are not an accident.

You have a purpose…

"But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” Exodus 9:16 (NKJV)

When we grasp this truth… that the Creator of all that there is created you “that [He] may show [His] power in you” life takes on a new meaning.

It has purpose.

God is love.  He created you primarily to love you.  And when He loves you… it shows.  The power of His love is shown in you.

And it shows through you.

You aren’t here to build houses or businesses, relationships or retirement accounts.  You are here to be a demonstration of God’s love.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  Matt 6:33

When we think of all the things we want… or could have… how do they compare to having what our Father wants for us?

Were I to demonstrate all of the power I have… you wouldn’t even bat an eyelash.  In fact, I can see you yawning at that demonstration even as I write this.

But were God to demonstrate His power in Me… Now that would be worth watching.

God is the first Cause.  The first Purpose.  And all He does in on purpose.

You are here on purpose.

To be loved by God and to show His love.
