This is what the Lord asks to me quite often. When I am talking… even when I am talking about Him… He will often impress upon me that He would like to join the conversation.
Sometimes I hear Him… others I don’t… but when He wants to…
He manages to get a word in.
I am sure you have had it happen. I am sure there has been one of those moments when you are trying to figure everything out and it just isn’t working.
Or you are trying to get an answer… or remember a name… or a date… and then it “pops” into your head…
Or sometimes, when you’re talking and all of a sudden you’ll say something that you never thought about before…
Yeah… that’s Him getting a word in.
We should pause and say “thanks” more often.
He REALLY wants to be part of the conversation. Because He is here. He is alive. He never ignores us…
And He doesn’t want us to ignore Him.
“Delight thyself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path.”
He has something to say…
Let Him get a word in.
