Until He brings you word.

Have you ever found yourself in a position where you KNOW that the Lord has told you to do something?  I have, and I know many others who have as well.
And then time passes… and things seem harder… and you wonder if you heard Him right.
And then you remember the last thing He said…
 “Until I bring thee word.”
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word:” Matthew 2:13
Do not lose courage.  Do not be discouraged.  Do not have anything to do with anything that would even hint of you not having the courage you had the moment you heard Him.
If you haven’t heard different… what He told you is still in effect.  Keep at whatever it was.
If a business… be about it as it is your Father’s business.
If a relationship… stay on board and don’t cast yourself into the sea or be distracted by the waves and wind.
If a ministry… know that the need He has set out to meet through you is still there and He wants your hands in it.
Whatever He told you to do… do it until He says different.  Whatever He told you He will do… know that he is faithful… He will complete it.
Too often we think we need to hear from Him again on something, when what He would say is “act on what you heard me say.” (which is to say, “listen”)
Often God sends us places to protect us.
But while we are there He perfects us.
Until He brings word… be where He has placed you.
