Who is it that demonstrates the faith to move mountains?

“If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain,” Matt 17:20

I can attest that, if it is as I suspect it is… and mountains are hard to move… that we can describe them as stubborn and reluctant to listen to just anyone say, “Into the sea!”

That being said, I believe that the answer to the question of who demonstrates the faith to move these mountains…

Wives.

And, specifically, my wife.

You see, because I can be quite… well… obstinate.  Stubborn.  Thick headed.  Set in my ways.

I think you get the picture.

But praise be to God that He, in His infinite wisdom and grace, has blessed those of us who are married with the amazing gift of a wife.  A helpmate.  The better half.

Men, we need to realize this straight away.

The sooner the better too.  Because if you get too high on yourself, or too set in your ways, and think that nothing will move you…

Oh you are really gonna have an eye opener.  You see, one day (most likely today, a few times) that sweet woman is going to move that mountain of pride and cast it into the sea.

Get ready to get wet.
