When people oppose you because of your faith

“For my love they are my adversaries:” Psalm 109:4a

Who is your love?

Is it Jesus?

If it is, then you will have many adversaries because of it.  People who have no reason to be against you will find themselves being just that… against you.

You will not be in want for adversaries… weather physical or spiritual.  But there is a strategy for taking care of this…

“but I [give myself unto] prayer.” Psalm 109:4b

Prayer. 

It is the ultimate strategy because it is not just you speaking to God… it is a conversation.  He speaks to us in prayer.  And in it He reminds us that what we are up against is not what we can see…

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].” Ephesians 6:12

Give yourself unto prayer.  Always.  Like breathing.  Never let it stop.  Never take a break.  Never deny that it is what makes you continue.

God declared that His house was to be a house of prayer. 

We are temples of the Holy Spirit.

A temple is a house for the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is God.

Therefore… we are to be houses of prayer.

I need this more than any I know.  I need prayer.  I can’t go a day without it.  I can’t begin to live if I have not done it.

When I don’t pray it is like hold my breath.  I begin to die.

Just thought I would share how important prayer is to me.

It is the greatest of privileges and strategies.

It is a way of life.
