The change that brings His presence.

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him... While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” Matt 17:2-3,5
Before Moses and Elias… before the cloud of Glory… there was a change.
Christ was transfigured before them.
It was a necessary change.  He had to move from the flesh… to the glory.
And we need the same change.
We need to be transfigured.
When the Father looks upon us He must see His Son.  Our Face needs to shine as the SON.
And our filthy rags… our righteousness… needs to be placed with the robe of white, having been washed by the blood of the Lamb.  We need to take upon us His righteousness… we need to be standing right with Christ.
And then we can be surrounded, completely engulfed with His glory.
So how do we do this?
Accept Jesus as Savior.  Take His change.  Let Him live in you.  He already went to the mountain.  And He will return to it.
In Him we have been made new.
Get to the mountain.  Get into the presence of God.
