When heaven calls

When I realized that prayer is more than speaking… that it is hearing; that it is not a monologue… but a dialogue with Christ… my life changed.

Every prayer is a call FROM heaven...

Whenever we get the unction to pray we must start in thanks as we realize that He put on our hearts not what we want to have BUT what He wants to give us.

Think about that… when all of a sudden you say, “Lord help me!” You have to realize that you did not say this because it was your idea… you repeated what the Holy Spirit said to you, “He wants to help you!”

Thanks sets the message in motion.

Thanks sends the angels to earth.

Thanks is what enables receiving.

Prayer is a privilege of the Christian as we know that every prayer is answered in Christ Jesus.  Others pray but it is merely a petition.  Yes, there prayers can be answered… but only because of His grace. 

Like when my daughter asks my wife for something off of a high shelf and I get it. 

People may pray to other gods… but if a prayer is answered it is only God who gives good gifts.

And He would not give bad gifts… gifts that were not perfectly in line with His will.

Every prayer is a call FROM heaven…

don't let it ring... don't live with a heavenly voicemail, but by a heavenly voice.
