The place of desolation

And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:” Matthew 12:25
Did you ever notice that there is something very important about this verse?  That may seem an understatement.  But think about it.  Where is this all going?
Division is from the devil.  And we need to heed the warning of Christ here.  Every kingdom… EVERY KINGDOM… that is divided against itself IS BROUGHT TO ...
Did you catch that?  Brought to.
What?
To a place.  A place with a name.
Desolation.
And who is the lord of that land?  The devil.  And he has a side kick.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place,” Matthew 24:15
The devil has a legal right to those who seek to be subjects to his kingdom, to those who willfully emigrate to Desolation (population: 1/3 of the angels and growing), to those who step out of that state of Grace and into the place of contention.
The devil thrives on confusion and contention, striving and reviling.  He wants there to be chaos.
But Christ wants there to be calm.  Like when He calmed the storm.  And when the Spirit gives us sound mind.
Fight division with all of your might.  If people leave… let them depart.  But do not let them go without a holy fight.
You do not want to switch teams and gain entrance to Desolation, where there is not life, but only everlasting death.
